About Me — Martin Uetz
I’m Martin Uetz — a Swiss-born, Iceland-connected entrepreneur, CEO, investor, and explorer of the human spirit in the age of artificial intelligence. My life sits at the intersection of business, technology, and what it means to be human, and I’ve built my work around helping people thrive in a world that’s moving faster than ever.
I grew up in Switzerland with a British mother, spent nearly two decades with my Icelandic wife Sigrun, and together we’ve built companies, traveled the world, and created spaces where humans and technology meet with purpose. Today, I am building HumAIne — a platform dedicated to helping people navigate, understand, and lead in the AI era.
My work is driven by a simple belief:
In the era of artificial intelligence, the differentiator won’t be technology — it will be humanity.
I explore that idea through essays, dashboards, tools, and real-world business strategy. Whether I’m building AI-powered investment dashboards, prototyping digital products, designing systems to scale entrepreneurial businesses, or teaching leaders how to adapt to exponential technology, my focus remains the same: making the future usable, understandable, and human.
A Life Built Around Curiosity and Growth
I’m endlessly curious — about macroeconomics, AI, emerging technologies, behavioral psychology, travel, design, and the future of work. I test, build, break, rethink, and rebuild continuously.
Some pieces of my life that shape my work:

What I Write About
On my blog, I explore:
- How humans thrive in the age of artificial intelligence
- Leadership in a world of exponential change
- Systems that make people more powerful
- Personal growth in a technologically abundant future
- Macro signals, markets, and thinking clearly
- Travel, culture, design, and meaning
- Lessons from Iceland and Switzerland — two places that shaped me deeply
My writing is not just about ideas — it’s about living well in a world where old models break and new ones are born daily.
My Philosophy
I believe the next era belongs to people who master:
- Human skills: empathy, clarity, meaning
- Technological fluency: AI as a partner, not a threat
- Personal evolution: staying adaptive, curious, and grounded
- Courage: taking leaps even when the path is unclear
- Systems thinking: turning chaos into something that works
And most of all:
The future doesn’t happen to you — you build it.
Why I Do What I Do
- Because the world is changing fast — but humans don’t have to fall behind.
- Because AI is an amplifier — and we must choose what it amplifies.
- Because extraordinary things happen when people combine knowledge, creativity, and courage.
- And because I want to help others navigate this moment in history with clarity, strength, and a sense of purpose.
